When a young couple, Sarah and John, moves into a charming Victorian home on First Street, they think they have found their dream home. But their dream soon turns into a nightmare when they begin to experience strange and unsettling occurrences. Doors open and close on their own, objects move mysteriously, and they hear disembodied voices. As they investigate the strange happenings, they uncover a dark and sinister past that is connected to the house.
The house was built in the late 1800s by a wealthy businessman named William H. Anderson. Anderson was a ruthless and ambitious man who made his fortune by exploiting the poor and working class. He was also a cruel and abusive husband to his wife, Mary. Mary died under mysterious circumstances in the house, and it is rumored that her ghost still haunts the premises.
Sarah and John soon learn that they are not the only ones who have experienced strange things in the house. The previous owners, a family with two young children, fled the house in the middle of the night, leaving behind all their belongings. The real estate agent who sold Sarah and John the house knew about the strange occurrences, but he failed to disclose them.
As Sarah and John dig deeper into the house's past, they uncover a web of secrets and lies. They learn that Anderson was involved in a number of shady business dealings, and that he may have even been responsible for Mary's death. They also learn that the house is built on the site of an old Indian burial ground, which may explain the strange occurrences that have plagued the house for centuries.
Sarah and John are determined to uncover the truth about the house and the dark secrets that it holds. But as they get closer to the truth, they realize that they are in danger. The ghosts of the house are determined to protect their secrets, and they will stop at nothing to keep Sarah and John from uncovering the truth.
