Set against the backdrop of the Vietnam War, Twice Week Heroes is a powerful and moving story of love, loss, and redemption.

Frank Christianson was a young man when he was drafted into the Army and sent to Vietnam. He was a member of the 101st Airborne Division, and he saw some of the heaviest fighting of the war.

In Vietnam, Frank met Sergeant John Riley, a tough but compassionate man who became his mentor and friend. Together, they faced the horrors of war and the challenges of coming home.

After the war, Frank returned to the United States a changed man. He was haunted by the memories of what he had seen and done. He struggled to adjust to civilian life, and he turned to alcohol and drugs to numb the pain.

One day, Frank met a woman named Sarah. She was a single mother with two young children. Frank and Sarah fell in love, and they married. For a while, Frank was happy. He had a job, a family, and a roof over his head.

But Frank's demons never really went away. He continued to drink and use drugs, and he became increasingly withdrawn and irritable. Sarah tried to help him, but she couldn't reach him.

One night, Frank came home drunk and started arguing with Sarah. He pushed her, and she fell and hit her head. Frank was horrified. He called 911, but it was too late. Sarah died from her injuries.

Frank was devastated. He lost the love of his life, and he knew that he was to blame. He was arrested and charged with murder.

In prison, Frank had a lot of time to think about his life. He realized that he had made a lot of mistakes, and he was determined to make things right.

Frank started reading the Bible and attending church services. He found solace in his faith, and he began to heal.

After serving his sentence, Frank was released from prison. He returned to his hometown and dedicated his life to helping others.

Frank became a volunteer at a local shelter for homeless veterans. He also started a support group for people who had lost loved ones to violence.

Frank's story is a powerful reminder that even the darkest of pasts can be redeemed. No matter what mistakes we have made, it is never too late to change our lives.

Twice Week Heroes is a must-read for anyone who has been touched by the tragedy of war.
