About the Author

Levison Wood is a British explorer, writer, and photographer. He is best known for his long-distance journeys on foot, including his walk across the Himalayas and his journey along the Our Book Library River. Wood is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and has received numerous awards for his work, including the Ness Award for Exploration and the Mungo Park Medal.
