• K1, P1 rib for 2 inches.
• Change to stockinette stitch (K every row).

• Continue knitting until the piece measures 10 inches from the cast-on edge.
• Bind off all sts.

Hat:

• CO 36 sts.
• K1, P1 rib for 2 inches.
• Change to stockinette stitch (K every row).
• Knit until the piece measures 5 inches from the cast-on edge.
• Shape the crown by knitting 2 sts together at the end of the next 2 rows.

Trousers:
